Charles Paul Hoffman is a freelance writer and editor, with expertise in comics and pop culture, law and politics, and legal history. He is a regular contributor to Comic Book Resources and Book Riot, a former contributor to Fusion, and his work has appeared at the Literary Review of Canada, the Queen’s Law Journal, the Manitoba Law Journal, and the Canadian Journal of Law and Society. His article on diversity and Marvel comics was cited widely by the international press and was discussed on air on the BBC.

Charles has a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago, a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law (where he served as Lectures Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review), and a Master of Laws from the McGill University Institute of Comparative Law.
